The Waffle House

Ruru was in such a daze that she didnt realize Shogo went near her not after he spoke.

"As inevitable as it is, good hearing comes with young age." She slurped from the now empty milk shake glass.

"So, are you gonna help them or what?"

Sinking into his seat he chuckled, "Well there's not much i can do for them myself...but i shall lend my aide as soon as the time is right"

"The question is are you going to help them?" he grinned at her across the table "Before i hear you answer please consider this...This is a huge battle that no matter what realm you hide in you will be affected by the outcome of these events"

"Sad to admit it but you speak of the truth." Ruru sighed in all exhaustion, it felt like she had no other option, but helping them would mean throwing years of cloaking her presence.

"My greater concern is you though, your starting to sound like Ayako with all this balance, in times i think you even believe what your saying, quite the interesting Quincy you are."

Barging in like yesterdays bad news was Uruha Ayako, there too look for troubles again.

"Do you have masking tape?" she asked Shogo.

It feels as though that after there last meeting, she can just barge in without hesitation or any other angle.

"Duck tape will do."

It was like that... Until a small highschool looking girl caught her attention. She looked cute, too cute, it was unacceptable to her. It was like her Uruha Ayako, the Tiger of Karakura got stomped by a little kitten of a highschool cutseepie.

Shogo sighs as a little rain cloud begins to float above his head "Well the balance thing, it was a joint venture with me and her...speak of the devil..." he looks up at as the woman in question storms into his resturant

"Uruha I erm" he says lost for words as he sees the fire in her eyes "I'm with a very important customer here, theres a general store across the road that would probably sell duct tape" he says pointing towards the door

Ruru's turns around feeling the sudden heaviness around the area, it felt as though Uruha was cursing her from deep within.

"She doesnt recognize me or anything... right?" she tries speaking with shogo through eye contact, yet again, it might not work, for even he turned into a mess as Uruha entered.

Uruha was still beaming down a look at the highschool girl, she got even more agitated as she heard him talking about getting masking tape from her own shop. She wanted to calm her self down, yet, she found no strength to.

"Im gonna cover up that hole, I only just envisioned a flood coming from your shop going to mine, i dont want any damage on my shop cause you didnt listen to me."

Completly blanking ruru's eye contact speech his attention completly focused on the angry woman that stood before them Shogo brushed back his hair as he stood up

"Fine, hang on a minute" he said as he vanished from the spot and returned a few seconds later with a roll of duct tape in his hands

"There, now go fix it up miss fortune teller" he sighs as he passes her the duct tape,"You really wasting that wonderful gift of yours on such trivial matters..."

Ruru almost bursted out laughing and was having a hard time keeping it in. She knew exactly what he meant by that, Uruha tends to use her powers for non-sense in times, yet again, they still turn out true.

This one was an obvious non-sense, its highly possible that she was spying into his future and saw this flood, it might be symbolical, and this visit was just an excuse, like the other one.

When Uruha has a hunch, its always right, but this time it was something different, theres something odd about this meeting. Calming down she spoke to the girl.

"I know you from somewhere, but i cant quite point a finger at it." She did look a little like her, when she was younger. She had theories of Shogo looking for her look-a-like to torment her, yet why go that far if he felt nothing for her since that day.

She took the duct tape and took a stool with her, she leaned upwards as if looking for what would cause the so called flood.

She stepped on the stool but still couldn't reach the area of the crack.

"Hang on" he sighed as he walked up to her as she tried to patch up the crack

"Will you let me give you a boost?" he asked as she struggled to reach it

hesitantly, Uruha took on the offer by giving a nod. She was running out of options, the storm was nearing, and flood shall befall them.

In Kuraginn's body, Kyouga spotted his teenage mother. He wanted to speak to her, but he was in Kuraginn's body currently. "I'll be back, Kurewa." Kuraginn said calmly to his friend. In response, Kurewa nodded as Kuraginn went over to Ruru. "Pardon me, are you Ruru?" Kuraginn asked her, already knowing what she would say.

Ruru released a long sigh and turned over to the boy who asked her if she was Ruru. "Tsuchimiya Riku, pleasure to meet you" she changed her human name yet again, she couldn't decide which to use, the one or the other, eiter way, she had much freedom in her hands that she didnt care any longer. "I dunno who this Ruru is all of you speak of, but im not her."

Shogo sighs as he puts his arms around her and picks her up, he holds her up to the ceiling so Uruha is within reach of the crack in the ceiling. He looks to the odd man talking to Ruru across the table, wondering whether he was a trouble maker or not and would have to be dealt with

With Shogo's help Uruha was able to patch the crack up nice and neatly.

"Okay, all done now, you can put me down now."

She really took her time, his arms might be hurting by now.

"Okey doke" he said as he lowered her to the ground and let her go

"Thanks... i suppose..." he looked up at the patched up ceiling "Seriously though, thats the most disastorous thing you could see in the near future?"

"I've seen worst" Uruha smiled a real smile after so long.

There were 3 things she's good at in this world.

Revealing truths... and keeping them to her self.


The other is business.

"You really are a sadist.." he said as he looked down at his feet

"Well... if you want anything off the menu, please take a seat and it'll be on the house... only as a thankyou present of course!"

Uruha waved her hand. "I'll take one waffle house then, with a cute little door and all that." Uruha sat beside Ruru who she was not all mad with anymore.

Shogo gulped as uruha sat right next to her anscestor without even relising it.

"Yeah... yeah coming right up..." he said as he clicked his fingers at one of the mini-skirt wearing waitressess.

"Uruha... actually... i may need some guidance if you would be so kind to listen?" he asked as he sat down on a seat opposite, it never even crossed his mind about asking this question, he just blurted it out naturally

Uruha was surprised that she almost chuckled when she replied. "I'm all ears." When they were together, he never spoke to her so openly, it was a refreshing feeling for Uruha.

"You know the policy of neutrality i live by... but recent events are tipping the balance greatly and i am begining to wonder whether i should try and restore order once more by choosing a side..."

he sighed as a brushed back his hair

"or should i simply sit this one out like always?"

Fresh from his travels around Hueco Mundo, Hanzo opens the door of the waffle house and holds it open for his guest following him inside. The familar and comfortable surroundings of the waffle house came as a relief to him as he felt like this might be the final place for him to rest soundly before the end was nigh.

Ciel in his suit entered feeling out of place with his attire, it would appear that old habits died hard. He removed his tall hat and gave a smile as a greeting to the small home like waffle place.
