Aoi Kisaragi                   "Life is like a box of chocolates... I hate chocolate!" Basic Information: Name: Aoi Kisaragi Age: 453 Age Appearance: 16 or 17 Gender: Female Affiliation: Aoi herself, other vizard, and most importantly, herself. Rank: 13th Division Captain Residence: Anywhere she feels like. Appearance: Aoi is a well presented person when she mostly feels like doing so, which is practically all the time. She stands at about 5 feet and 8 inches tall (170 cm) and weighs 116 lbs. She loves to dress normally and more fancy like as if she were of a noble descent. Though she does have manners, she rarely uses them without the facade and outfit to adorn it, however she does choose when she will wear either or whenever she feels to do so. That may include changing several times a day even if she so felt like it. Normally, Aoi will wear clothing as casual as a normal person, though she loves to be a little more on the less then fully dressed side of things. Always under her clothing is a black lingerie set of clothing, usually topped with a tank top or a t-shirt with a pleated skirt or short shorts, maybe a pair of jeans or sweatpants. Her clothing variety always varies on how she feels at the present moment, which in said case may warrant her to change clothes on a whim. Aoi has a very unique part to her that most others would never really notice unless she let it. Her left eye is of a different color; a golden color rather than the matching shade to which her right eye of a soft shade of amber. Normally her golden eye is covered by some of her bangs which had been grown out and cut to fit over her eye and form a cover with her raven black hair. One thing that Aoi loves about herself is her hair, and in such becomes both overprotective with it and infuriated if people get touchy touchy with her or it. It's almost always kept in twintails, sometimes lower and over her shoulders and tied with two bows with a purple rose on both bows. However she may tie it up higher and just with a couple hair ties to keep it tight up there and most likely would show off her special eye in such a case. Personality: Aoi is a special kind of person. Some people would most definitely call her a selfish bitch, but the raven haired girl simply just likes to define herself as a Chaotic Neutral type of person. She puts herself above others and does what she thinks is best for her. If it has negative affects, then well that's her problem to deal with, but she despises being bossed around. She's a free spirit and will not hesitate to tell a single person to stick it where the sun doesn't shine if they don't like her attitude, though that changes when or if she is playing a ruse. She sometimes likes to act like a normal or respectful person if it suits the purpose to which the part may be needed to play. Her personality can flip in the blink of the eye if she needed to as well if the opportunity presents itself, or the ruse isn't really needed anymore. Despite her streak of violence, disrespect, and deception Aoi does have a bit of care for things. Mostly that's more towards little kids. Adorable little buggers... when they aren't crawling up your back for things. However, she does still believe in the right things even if she has no care for things that don't suite her cause. Though through it all she does have that soft spot for kids, and that would probably be her biggest weakness when it comes to her overall personality. Your Legacy: Character Story: This story begins not much sooner than about 100 years into the life of Aoi Kisaragi. After her death to be more specific she had died at the age of 16, only to end up dying due to unnatural causes even unknown to her own self. All that Aoi remembers from waking up from her life is that she was left for dead, she had a regal background, and that she was putting herself over others.. minus kids. She spent some time within a small city of people and doing whatever she had done to get ahead. Turning things to make her seem correct, center of attention, or however she could twist things to make her in favor of everyone else. Simple things to give herself the best of everything was at the tip of her fingers and people wrapped around her fingers as well. She ever really could remember gaining such a ruse and bluffs, tricks, and taunts to be able to use them to such benefits, but it always seemed to make her think that could have been a bit more of the cause of her death. Needless to say, after such time she was sought out for petty things, or at least to what she was led to be told through falsely spread rumors. All of which was just to lure her out to be taken into the Gotei 13 for reasons untold to her until she was told when she was in a more private setting. As per a more selective memory, Aoi had gone through what she prefers to call the "basic shinigami crap" and in such she went through the academy, graduated, and she prefers to wait, just to do her research around places to find where she would be best suited in an ability to gain a more comfortable atmosphere where she could do what she wanted and just bend rules to her own pleasing. From what her memory would actually show is from her time as a regular human being, she had spent her time as a bit of a school idol. She was from a wealthy and well known family, brought up by private tutors specific to raising someone with a sophisticated manner of speaking, acting, eating, and so on. She had money, and with such a thing she used that and her popularity to gain whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted it and she wasn't one who got recompense for such a thing. It was a habit to which she had gotten accustomed to, and to which she grew better with as the years progressed and she developed. With that flirting became another thing she added to her forte of exploitation.. which worked wonders up until her death. After her submission into the Gotei 13, the academy life was just as boring as the human world school. The upside was beating people up with swords, as well as gaining her own real one. She had to use her old techniques as sly as she could without getting in trouble for it. She was a bit of a trouble maker as well, mostly with respect for her instructors. Aoi was never told what to do, and in being told such things seemed to annoy her though her memory didn't serve too well to the purpose of things, but for the sake of the benefit, she had done so to please them enough to pass her. After graduating, Aoi simply stayed a free agent to squads, until she had taken into the 13th division, where she had become a captain of the division.. though she still doesn't appreciate being told what to do by others... But she's willing to live with it if it means keeping the position she is in. RP Sample: The days grew tedious and boring. There wasn't ever anything seemingly fun to do anymore since graduation around this place... Gathering the bits of information she had, the few squads she wandered away from were those that couldn't suit what she could do, or she wasn't able to gain a position that fit her either. The raven haired soul reapers footing clacked on the ground, which had been a little less than a satisfying sound. It was more of an irritation than it was normal, but then again the echo of other shinigami walking around was still within the same annoyance if not a little more. Sure she didn't necessarily like the fact she was in it, but the fact of gaining things she could never normally gain excited her, motivated her to do it... that and the cheering kids kinda got to her. One of the only things that seemed to make her smile aside from getting her way was more so on the bit of a fact that she was getting such positive reinforcement from the children around the Soul Society which she had come to enjoy more of than normal adults like a person of her age would seem to enjoy more of. Aoi smiled at the fact that she had such nice memories of the kids as well as the cons of messing with people. However since she joined she had kind of slimmed down on doing such things since they were "frowned upon" in here. She shrugged and just let it slide since her greed of the things in futures grasp were more than what little thing she could do to get by for a little bit. The long running gain was more important than the just now factor, but there were indeed some things to which Aoi had used her old tricks to gain certain things that would still be under a lawful means of obtaining. Not that flirting wasn't against the rules... Well none that anyone bothered to tell her~. Just for now she could continue what she wanted to do within means of keeping other people from bugging her, and instead of that she could just go ahead and toy around with people, or just go back to playing with the children in her off time. However she chose, she did what she wanted and would just continue until told otherwise. Powers & Abilities: Visored Information: (Before being able to produce mask and use vizard abilities, proper training must be done despite membership date within group. The more training you do, the better your control is. Mask Duration will be added when Vizard is ready for RP.} Visored Mask: Mask eye colors are a bright red for her right eye and a bright golden eye for her left eye. Appearance: Hollowfication: Coinciding existence with control switching at will. Hollow Manifestation: When the full hollowfication form takes over on Aoi, she gains a black aura to her body, and her hands and feet form hard solidified reiatsu into a white color with red tribal printing. 6 large white tails form as well while they gain only minimal red printing just a few inches from the tips of the tails, all mirroring the same image. The abdomen of Aoi will become covered in a sleeveless piece of what would look to be armor in the same form as her mask and matching hands and feet. This piece is blank in the front, but on the back forms a matching symbol of the shape of her mask. Zanpakutō: Zanpakuto Spirit Description: Kurushimu is a kindred spirit of a larger male appearance. He is bulky and well toned much like a body builder. He has a set of wolf ears and a tail which are a natural and rather real. His voice is in a slightly deeper tone, though it's rather loud and booming at times to which he wants it to be. He's rather blunt and straight forward as well, almost strict like a drill instructor, though he does show a little bit of compassion when it present itself. Zanpakuto Name: Kurushimu Sealed Appearance: Appearance: Shikai Name: Kurushimu (No change) Shikai Release Phrase: Bring thine blight to you're foes Released Appearance: Spoiler: Shikai Special Ability: The ability this shikai can have is if contact of a person or their weapon is made, a black sparking attribute is applied to said person or weapon, disabling abilities to be activated for a post of action. If the spiritual pressure is larger than the users, they may break this blight from it, otherwise the one post duration is applied. For example, if a person is hit, they are unable to place on a vizards mask or use kidou, but if a weapon is hit, a shikai/bankai activation or ability activation for it is disabled for that post. Once a blight is applied, there is a four post cooldown before another blight can be applied to a single person or weapon. Bankai Name: Eien no kurushimi Bankai Release Phrase: Let thy power seize your foes! Released Appearance: Spoiler: Bankai Special Ability: The ability this bankai can have is if contact of a person or their weapon is made, a black sparking attribute is applied to said person or weapon, disabling abilities to be activated for three posts of action. If the spiritual pressure is larger than the users, they may break this blight from it, otherwise the three post duration is applied. For example, if a person is hit, they are unable to place on a vizards mask or use kidou, but if a weapon is hit, a shikai/bankai activation or ability activation for it is disabled for that number of posts. Once a blight is applied, there is a six post cooldown before another blight can be applied to a single person or weapon. Abilities (Max 16, you can add/unlock as you progress, but to be able to use technique, you must acquire it in-game) Name: Dark Pulse State: All Terms of Usage: None Description: The user can hit their weapon against a wall, ground, body, even it's own sheath as well as in it's own sheath as well and causes a small outward pulse 1 foot in height, even with the users ribcage. The ability spreads as far as 5 meters out and knocks back anyone hit by it. Downside: The ability is easily avoidable and can be blocked with a shield. Name: Stygian Bolt State: Shikai, Bankai, and Visored Terms of Usage: Must be in one of mentioned states above Description: The user gathers reiatsu into their hand and can fire out a bolt of black colored reia. This is much like a Byakurai Kidou spell, however this ability will also use the Zanpaktou's ability to cause the blight ability based upon whether Shikai or Bankai is active and can loophole the passive cooldown if hit. Downside: This ability is small in size, though reach and power are higher it is easily dodge-able. Name: Stygian Surge State: All Terms of Usage: Zanpaktou drawn Description: This ability affects the user themselves. The black Reia normally found with their other abilities sparks around their body, enhancing their physical speed by 150%. This does include flash step speed as well, but cannot affect speed if in the air. Downside: This ability is a straining ability to the body by the constant use of the users power to sustain such an ability. Name: Beasts Awakening State: Shikai, Bankai, or Visored Terms of Usage: Must be in the state mentioned above. Description: This ability is more along the defensive side. The user makes a black aura appear around their body and zan made of their own reiatsu. This allows them to use this aura as a shield against abilities made by Kidou or or reaitsu based abilities. Downside: This much like Stygian Surge causes a bit of strain on the users body the longer this is active and cannot block physical attacks unless the physical weapon is through and through reia based (i.e. a sword or mace made completely of reiatsu. This does not affect reiatsu enhanced things, such as a fist covered in reia, etc.

Hey aoi! Love your profile. It is very well done and there are rarely any mistakes.
Ruru hasn't answered but I don't know if we're going to allow special ability (like at all to anybody) so I'll hold off on saying anything about that. But if we do allow it your it's a little god moddy since you say your abilities makes it so another person can't use theirs (I hope that makes sense ;;). But for now leave it since we don't know what's happening with special abilities.

My one other small problem though is your character history it's a little fuzzy and short and doesn't really say anything about your character. I understand if your characters got the whole "don't remember anything" thing but I still suggest a small paragraph of each stage of your life.

Such as Life and how your died--> waking up as a dead soul (you can say you don't remember anything about how you died here and just realized your no longer alive or something)---> academy life---> gotei 13 life --> current. They don't need to be super long or detailed but a brief statement would be nice.
