Takamoto Tower

The Takamoto Tower is a large building on the west coast that Lee Takamoto had found in the wreckage near the now flooded coast. He left the outside completely untouched without the slightest hint of being inhabited. Though, the base has been repaired to make sure that it will stand far longer than any of the buildings in the area that had not already fallen into the ocean. The middle floors and the highest floor are the only floors in use. Beside being re-enforced, the building holds no real other things and serves for a meeting area in the world of the Living.

After walking away from his confrontation with Shon Ben, he found himself on the roof of the building. However, it was not his intended location and the pendent Lee had given him a long time ago was now glowing. "Was I summoned here?" Kyouga asked himself in disbelief.

After the long confrontation between Lee, Bane, Michael, Rioshi and Raiden, Ashe Ventus found herself in the human world and in time, Takamoto Tower more specifically. Summoned by the ring given to her by Lee. It was glowing as she touched it lightly with her finger tip and looked up at the building that was in much better state than it's surroundings. She was hesitant to venture into an unknown place alone, but steeled her resolve when she told herself that if the ring was glowing, it was sure to be Lee's doing. Walking inside she froze seeing a man inside the building that was most certainly not Lee. "You're not Lee... Who are you?"

Kyouga was alarmed when the blonde woman approached him, and it only confirmed that they both have been gathered here for a meeting. "You are right. I am Kyouga Minamoto, an associate of Lee Takamoto. You look very beautiful, madam." Kyouga stated with respect before complimenting her, and showing his pendent.

"It is so wonderful that you were both able to find your ways here." A voice spoke out from within the building to announce his presence to the two. From the shadows, a golden haired male stepped forward into the light. His right hand in his pocket whilst his left just rested at his side. A black jacket was draped over his shoulders and rested there with little problem.

It was none other than Lee Takamoto himself as he came to a stop to let his eyes looked at both Kyouga and Ashe. "It has been quite awhile since I've seen either of you, far too long."

"For what reason did you summon us here? You better have a good reason for this." Kyouga said candidly in a tone that seemed suspicious of Lee. In all honesty, you couldn't really trust or distrust Lee, but there had to be a very good reason for all of this.

Lee let his attention fall onto Kyouga as he was the first to speak out and dashed straight to the point with little chit chat. Lee slowly shook his head lightly and then turned to the side and held his hand up toward the tower as he replied "Very straight to the point Kyouga, you wouldn't want to take a look around? Like I said, I haven't seen you in a good while."

He then let his arm drop down as he looked back toward Kyouga for a response, good or bad was yet to be known.

Ashe regarded the man cautiously as he introduced himself, eyes widening when he mentioned Lee. She blinked a few times, unsure how to respond to the out of the blue compliment, so simply looked away, shuffling her feet, her brown boots kicking up a good amount of dust in the abandoned building's floor before her eyes were drawn to the necklace of Kyouga's. It's make was quite unusual, just like her ring, which she glanced at before frowning at the man. "An associate? I've never heard of you...but I know Lee as well."

The shinigami whipped around at the sound of a much more familiar voice, a hopeful smile coming to her face even as she turned to look at the blonde man. Stepping closer to the man, the blonde girl responded with lament and yet happiness, "Longer than I would've liked. I've been...preoccupied." She was distracted by Kyouga's rather blunt rebuttal and Lee's subsequent reply. It appeared that they did know each other after all.

This made Ashe feel just a little bit smaller and berated herself for thinking that Lee had just called her here to chat for a friendly meeting or something silly like that. It must be important, what with everything going on here in the human world. She hadn't been hiding under a rock these last three years, but nearly so, to keep safe. Living in a gigai all this time was difficult to get used to, and it was sometimes hard to keep in mind how fragile it was compared to her soul form. She was not powerless however and was always on guard. What made her more on guard was Kyouga, and his reply. She waited anxiously, looking between the two men with uncertainty.

"It's true that it has been a very long time since our previous encounter, and it is nice to see you. But what is this meeting about? Furthermore, what is the purpose of these peculiar items you gave us?" Kyouga asked Lee calmly, wanting answers to a question that he always kept in the back in his mind ever since obtaining the pendent.

Lee slowly turned his attention over toward Ashe as she spoke to him about being otherwise, preoccupied. He raised a hand as if to silence her "Oh, I just hope that you have found yourself in good graces." He then looked back toward Kyouga as he spoke about the items that brought them both here before him. For this, Lee turned around and walked further into the building as he moved to the stairs and raised a single hand to signal them to follow as he started up the stairs.

"Those items you have in your possession are what I like to call, Tozase items. They come in many shapes and sizes but none too big and all pocket sized. They each are unique and after being held by someone for a small amount of time, they are forever linked with the individual. Try as you might, if you were to throw it away, be it into the ocean or into a volcano, it would find its way back to you in time. They are wonderful little things and a true marvel if you ask me but they are far more than just simple accessories to be gazed upon, they are so much more."

Ashe smiled warmly at Lee's reply, feeling a warmth grow inside her torso at his words, but kept quiet as his hand had raised. Instead, the Lieutenant eyed the grey haired man with suspicion as he asked a few questions and was very blunt and to the point with Lee. Though she did admit privately that she also would like to get some answers. Was he a Soul Reaper as well? She had never seen him before but that couldn't count for much. The blonde wondered what that odd white strip across his nose was and speculated that it could be a bandage possibly.

But all of her attention was drawn back to Lee as he actually answered Kyouga's questions. Blinking, Ashe listened carefully and glanced down at the ring that Lee had given to her quite some time ago. Could it really do that? She was half tempted to try, but would hate for it to turn out that it wouldn't return to her as she was quite fond of it, as it was one of the only two things she had ever received from Lee. But even as she considered that she couldn't see it as being much more than what it was. It was important to her and very pretty, but how could it be more than that? Yet Lee wouldn't lie she was sure. It was very puzzling to her and so she spoke as she followed the golden haired man up the stairs. "What do you mean? What are they capable of? And how did they lead both of us here?"
