The 6th Division are the frontline defence of the human realm against the constant hollow threat and any other supernatural forces that threaten the human realm, the majority of the 6th divisions missions will occour in the human realm.
In Soul Society they are generally the keepers of the peace and the loyal upholders of the law.
They also have many training regimes at their disposal and a famous Dojo which is used in division wide tournaments which is open to any Shinigami.
