The Chat Box

Yes, we need a major change to our current chatbox. Like I had said in the other thread, this chatbox it taking too much space on the top with the banner even now we have a smaller banner. Also, we can't post and chat at the same time. This is so far a pain for me. T.T

since i've used the old chat box, and it made everything slow when its on the right side.

i like it on top, i dont see anything wrong with it, but yeah, its nice having a chatbox that appears everywhere to.

I'm not a big fan of the chatbox at all... I mean, I could care less where it is... It being up at the top pushes down the actual forums, which is what we want people to notice the most, but having it at the right side squishes everything...

This is a forum in need of active members, and one of the main ways to get active members is to have the site look active... Having a chatbox makes communicating faster, but we can easily talk in a thread also... Not only will that bring up post counts, it will make the forum seems more lively...

But anyway, I do see your point. Some people might be fine with the chatbox stay on the top. So just let people post and see what the out come is.

Looks like I even the vote, I'm plain Ok with the chatbox being on top and only on the frontpage, it makes the site look active because there actually are some ppl chatting ^^

I don't see any point in changing that chat box again, I think it's fine as it is. :P

What do you mean, you can't enter it? Have you registered or anything? It works for everyone else. :P

Hmmm, for ichi, i think whats wrong is with his plug-ins.

esp in Mozilla's, i sometimes use PC's without those flash player plug-ins.

OK, i'll give this thread another week to live.

Just suggesting it but isn't it possible to use HTML to let it open in a second window next to the forum? That way you can always see it no matter where you go on the forums ^^.

Actually con, if you notice the nav bar (navigation bar)

there's HOME , Soul Society, Chat

if you click on that, a new window will pop out, and it would be a separate chat area
